Where AI
Goes Next.
Four days. One ecosystem.
A shared ambition to turn AI's potential into real-world impact.
Overview
Artificial Intelligence is growing rapidly, and India has reached a stage where the focus needs to move from experimentation and development to the actual adoption and deployment of AI across industries and public services.
India’s AI ecosystem is advancing rapidly, backed by the ₹10,372 crore IndiaAI Mission and over 45,000 GPUs deployed to support startups, researchers and academia. Thousands of AI startups are building solutions across sectors, while initiatives such as AIKosh are strengthening access to datasets and models. With 40% of Indian companies using AI at scale, adoption is gaining momentum. The next priority is to build indigenous AI capabilities, deepen research and talent, and translate this momentum into productivity, competitiveness and global leadership.
Vision and Purpose
The Government of India successfully organised the India AI Impact Summit in 2026, bringing together the Indian and global AI ecosystem on one platform. There is now an opportunity to sustain this momentum through an annual platform where the entire ecosystem can come together to showcase innovations, share developments and discuss how AI can be adopted at scale with the Indian AI Stack.
The Internet And Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) is taking the initiative to create India AI Fest (IAF) as an annual platform for the entire AI ecosystem. The aim is to give Indian companies, startups, researchers and innovators an opportunity to showcase their strengths alongside global technology leaders and create greater visibility for India's AI capabilities.
